GALLERIES

Dibben is primarily a watercolourist, noted for his highly detailed studio work, but has also worked extensively in the field, resulting in a work of a looser appearance. He is particularly known for his minutely observed paintings of small wooden boats, architectural subjects, and also expansive beach scenes. He has also produced paintings of ocean liners and cruise ships.

In early 2008, Dibben was a Finalist in a competition run by the prestigious magazine “International Artist”. His work has featured in two books published by them, and the magazine ran an eight-page feature on the artist in its December/January 2009 issue. Dibben has shown work regularly for more than 24 years at The Gallery, Picturecraft, in Holt, North Norfolk, and has had a number of one-man shows there, most recently in 2009 and 2014. See: www.picturecraftgallery.com  He has also shown at Mandell’s Gallery, Norwich, and various other galleries.

Andrew Dibben is a founder member of the I.E.A. (Institute of East Anglian Artists), and is a Council member. See: www.eastanglianartists.com
